Financial Planning Process

Step 1: Understanding Your Investment Goals and Objectives

The first meeting is to get to know you and you family's goals as well as an opportunity for you to ask questions about Capital Street and the financial planning process. We will describe the planning process in detail based on your unique needs.  There is no charge for that meeting, nor any obligation to move forward.

Step 2: Gathering Information and Building a Draft of Your Financial Plan

Prior to our second meeting, we will request additional information and documents to build a draft of your financial plan. At that meeting, we will discuss when you would like to retire, at what income level, accounting for the variables that will affect your financial security in retirement, like taxes, inflation, government fiscal and monetary policy, investment markets and your health.  If you are curious about any other type of investment, policy, or asset that you own, feel free to bring it up at this meeting.

Step 3: Recommendation and Implementation

At the third meeting, we will go over your final plan output and a detailed executive summary with recommendations. This version will create a benchmark against which to compare possible results in future years. This process helps make the projections more accurate over time.

Step 4: Ongoing Review

We will establish a regular review cycle to update your plan and explore developments which may affect your plan, and ensure you are on-track to realize your financial goals.
